Desert Hot Springs' State of the City 2025 Address Highlights Growth

Desert Hot Springs leaders gathered this morning for the 2025 State of the City address, hosted in partnership with the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce. The event began at 10 a.m. at the Desert Hot Springs Recreation Center, where officials presented updates on the city’s economic development and long-term plans.

City leaders emphasized that this year’s strategic plan centers on improving quality of life for residents. That includes expanding fire services, advancing the downtown revitalization project, bringing in new businesses and jobs, and addressing the city’s growing housing needs.

Road improvements and future park developments were also highlighted as key investments residents can expect in the near future.

In addition to the presentation, standout community members and organizations were recognized for their contributions to Desert Hot Springs. The Desert Hot Springs High School Band performed at the event, adding a special touch to the morning’s program.

City officials say the focus moving forward remains on continued growth, community wellness, and expanding resources for residents.
