Kitchen 86 in Palm Desert Offers Free Meals to Veterans and Active Duty Service Members on Veterans Day
A popular Coachella Valley restaurant is saluting America’s heroes this Veterans Day with a heartfelt show of gratitude.
Kitchen 86 + Bar, located in Palm Desert, is inviting veterans and active duty service members to enjoy a complimentary breakfast or lunch tomorrow as a token of appreciation for their service.
From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., guests who have served in the military can choose anything from the restaurant’s full menu — no restrictions, no special menu items — just a simple gesture of thanks.
Restaurant staff say it’s their way of giving back to the men and women who have given so much for their country.
“Honestly, we’re just giving our food back to the community to show our way of respecting all of the veterans that have served for our country,” said one team member. “It’s the easiest way we can show them that we respect them and care for all of the hard work they’ve done.”
The restaurant’s Veterans Day offer adds to a growing list of local tributes happening across the Coachella Valley — all designed to honor those who have worn the uniform and defended the nation.
So whether it’s breakfast or lunch, Kitchen 86 is welcoming veterans to gather, share stories, and be celebrated by a grateful community.
