House Oversight Committee Releases 20,000 More Epstein Documents, Including Emails Mentioning Trump

Breaking this morning, the House Oversight Committee has released an additional 20,000 pages of documents tied to the Jeffrey Epstein case. The materials were obtained directly from the Epstein estate and add to a total of 23,000 files currently under committee review.

The news, reported by NBC, follows the earlier release of several emails from the Epstein estate that specifically reference Donald Trump. In one of those messages, Epstein described Trump as “the dog that hasn’t barked” and claimed the former president “spent hours at my house with one of the alleged sex trafficking victims.”

Two other emails exchanged between Epstein and author Michael Wolff also reference Trump. While the content of those communications is still being reviewed, they reportedly discuss how Trump might address questions about his past relationship with Epstein.

Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing or meaningful connection to Epstein. The White House previously dismissed the release of these materials as a political move by Democrats to smear the president.

This latest batch of documents comes as the House reconvenes to address the ongoing government shutdown. Lawmakers are expected to vote this morning on whether to release all 23,000 Epstein-related files publicly. With the swearing in of newly elected Democratic Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva, proponents of full disclosure now appear to have the votes needed to move forward.
