Shay's Warriors Launches Holiday Comfort Drive Saturday

Shay's Warriors, a local nonprofit supporting cancer survivors and their families, is launching its "Give Without Expectations Drive" to bring warmth to patients undergoing treatment this holiday season.

Founded by breast cancer survivor Shay Moraga, the organization typically focuses on post-treatment support through free monthly programs, fitness classes, and wellness retreats. Now, they're expanding their mission.

The drive aims to collect new blankets for cancer patients, letting "them know that other survivors are thinking of them while they're going through this process," according to Moraga.

All donations must be new. Those unable to drop off items can contact Shay's Warriors directly to arrange volunteer pickup.
