Hundreds Expected at End Well Summit Focused on End-of-Life Care
Hundreds will gather this Thursday, November 20th at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles for the 2025 End Well Summit — an event dedicated to opening conversations about end-of-life care and making death "a little less hard for everybody involved."
Founded by Dr. Shoshana Ungerleider, the summit has grown from its 2017 start into an international movement. This year's theme is "Radical Bravery," focusing on the courage it takes to face grief, illness, and caregiving with compassion.
The event features diverse speakers, including Emma Heming Willis, wife of actor Bruce Willis, who will discuss dementia care and navigating caregiving challenges. Attendees can expect TED-style talks and hands-on workshops offering practical skills.
"We bring together these really diverse voices from all walks of life to talk about this and come up with solutions," Dr. Ungerleider said in an interview. "This is a full day of TED style talks that are deeply meaningful and surprisingly uplifting despite the content."
Watch the full interview above to hear more about what makes this summit unique and why conversations about mortality are more important than ever.
