Memorial Service Set for Cathedral City Councilmember Mark Carnevale on Dec. 15

A public memorial service has been scheduled for late Cathedral City Councilmember Mark Carnevale, who passed away Sunday. The service will take place on Dec. 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mary Pickford Theatre in Cathedral City.

Carnevale served on the Cathedral City Council for more than a decade and was widely credited with helping drive the revitalization of the city’s downtown arts and entertainment district. His leadership also supported the development of the city’s amphitheater and the addition of the Agua Caliente Casino within city limits.

Community members are invited to attend as the city honors Carnevale’s years of dedication, service and lasting impact.
