As an upper-level low pressure center moves down the coastline, clouds will thicken throughout the day in Southern California.
Rain will begin to move over the Inland Empire late this afternoon with a few light showers sneaking into the West end of the Coachella Valley by late Thursday night.
The Valley will experience widespread on-and-off shower activity all day on Friday under overcast conditions and much cooler temperatures with highs only reaching the upper-50s/lower-60s.
Snow levels will drop to around 6000-feet Friday afternoon before slowly moving back up. The Tram can expect up to 10-inches of new snow by Saturday morning.
A few mountain thunderstorms are also a possibility with this system.
As this low slowly moves to the East, it will begin taking the precipitation with it. Although a few lingering showers are possible over the Valley early Saturday morning, we'll see our sunshine return later in the day.
