Luxury Chateau DuMont Hosts Star-Studded “Get It Sold” Party Ahead of Weekend Rain

Palm Springs Life and Harcourts Luxury Real Estate and Auction are celebrating one of the Valley’s most impressive properties tonight with a red-carpet “Get It Sold” party at Chateau DuMont in Rancho Mirage. NBC Palm Springs’ Pablo Alsina is live on site, giving viewers a look at the event while also keeping an eye on the wet weather heading into the weekend.

Alsina says conditions are calm at the moment, but rain is on the way, with Thursday, Friday, and Saturday all showing precipitation in the forecast. Friday carries a full 100 percent chance of rain, prompting several weekend events across the Valley to adjust their schedules. Temperatures are expected to trend cooler heading into the weekend as well.

Despite the incoming storms, tonight’s event at Chateau DuMont is buzzing with excitement. One of the biggest stars in attendance is NBC Palm Springs’ own Mary Strong, who toured the massive estate and shared her first impressions.

The Chateau DuMont property spans eight acres and features an extraordinary 18,000-square-foot residence with 15 bedrooms. The estate includes a private lake where guests can canoe, an oyster bar set up for tonight’s celebration, beach volleyball, and even a bathroom featuring three full palm trees inside. The home also operates on its own well, adding to its long list of amenities.

The auction’s starting price is set at 10 million dollars, and realtors are on hand to showcase the home during tonight’s luxury event. Both Alsina and Strong noted that the property offers an unmatched blend of extravagance and resort-style features, making it a standout listing in Rancho Mirage.

More details about Chateau DuMont and the weekend weather forecast will be covered in upcoming segments.
