El Paseo Kicks Off the Season With Annual Holiday Tree Lighting

El Paseo officially launched the holiday season this evening with its annual tree lighting ceremony, drawing families and community members to Palm Desert for a night filled with festive cheer.

The celebration featured classic Christmas carolers, a Santa letter-writing station for children, and joyful visits with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Holiday music echoed along the decorated shopping district as visitors enjoyed the lights, displays, and lively seasonal atmosphere.

The tree lighting took place at 6 p.m., following opening remarks from Palm Desert Mayor Pro Tem Evan Trubee and Fred Fern, president of Chartwell Properties. Their welcome highlighted the importance of community traditions and the excitement surrounding the start of the holiday season on El Paseo.
