Ethan Hawke to Receive Career Achievement Award at 2026 Palm Springs International Film Awards

Actor Ethan Hawke will be honored at the 2026 Palm Springs International Film Awards with the prestigious Career Achievement Award. Festival organizers say Hawke is being recognized for his adventurous, prolific and decades-long career in film, including his latest performance in "Blue Moon".

Hawke’s acclaimed body of work spans collaborations with director Richard Linklater on films like "Boyhood" and the beloved "Before Trilogy", as well as standout roles in "Training Day" and "First Reformed." Beyond acting, he has also earned praise for his directing work in feature films and documentaries.

Past recipients of the Career Achievement Award include Kevin Costner, Morgan Freeman, Anthony Hopkins and Samuel L. Jackson. This year’s Film Awards ceremony will take place on January 3.
