Amazon tests 30-minute ‘Amazon Now’ deliveries in Seattle and Philadelphia

Online shoppers looking to save time may soon have a faster option on the way. Amazon has launched a new pilot program called Amazon Now, offering deliveries of essential products and groceries in as little as 30 minutes.

The service, currently being tested in Seattle and Philadelphia, aims to give customers quick access to everyday items during the busy holiday season. The company says the service uses smaller, efficient fulfillment facilities designed specifically to speed up order processing and delivery times.

Pricing for the ultra-fast option begins at around four dollars for Amazon Prime members and goes up to about 14 dollars for non-Prime customers.

For now, Amazon has not announced when Amazon Now might expand to additional cities across the United States, but officials say they are closely evaluating customer response during this trial run.
