The Roost Lounge is preparing for its sixth annual Wreath and Dessert Auction

The Roost Lounge is getting ready to host its sixth annual Wreath and Dessert Auction on December 7, a community tradition that raises funds and collects toys for the Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City. Organizers say the event brings together bakers, crafters, and supporters from across the Coachella Valley to help local children during the holiday season.

Participants are encouraged to drop off handmade wreaths or desserts on the day of the event so they can be auctioned off. All proceeds support programs at the Boys and Girls Club. In addition to the auction items, organizers are also asking attendees to bring unwrapped toys for boys and girls of all ages. These gifts will be distributed by the club the week of December 15, with donations needed by December 17 or 18 to ensure timely delivery.

For those who may not craft or bake but still wish to contribute, the toy donations provide another meaningful way to participate. This year, NBC Palm Springs will join the effort by donating a wreath of its own, supporting an event that gives back to children and families in Cathedral City.
