Toffee, Trick Shots, and Rock Trivia: Can You Pass This Holiday Pop Quiz?
It's the first Tuesday of December, which means it's officially Toffee Tuesday!
The day kicks off with a celebration of everyone's favorite buttery confection. Local favorite Brandini Toffee got a well-deserved shout-out as the go-to gift for friends and family near and far. There's something special about sending a taste of the Coachella Valley to loved ones across the country, and apparently, once people try it, they're hooked for life.
But Toffee Tuesday isn't the only reason to celebrate. December 2nd is also National Fritters Day, honoring those crispy, fried delights in all their forms, from apple to vegetable. And if you're feeling athletic, it's World Trick Shot Day too, established by none other than the Harlem Globetrotters to celebrate showing off those jaw-dropping sports skills.
Speaking of tricks, that brings us to today's pop quiz challenge. The keyword was "trick," which led to a head-scratcher about the rock band Cheap Trick. Before they became famous for hits like I Want You to Want Me, Surrender, and Dream Police, they briefly performed under a completely different name as an up-and-coming garage band.
Think you know your rock and roll history? Test your knowledge by watching the video and see if you can beat the morning crew!
