NBC Brings Holiday Cheer with Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting and Nashville Special Tonight
NBC is rolling out the holiday spirit tonight with back-to-back Christmas specials beginning at 8 p.m.
The evening kicks off with "Christmas in Rockefeller Center," hosted by Reba McEntire, featuring the lighting of the iconic 75-foot Norway spruce outside 30 Rock. The massive tree, donated by the Russ family from East Greenbush, New York, weighs approximately 11 tons and is adorned with over 50,000 LED lights.
"I don't think there's any place that is more festive and decorated better than New York City," McEntire says.
The celebration continues with "Christmas in Nashville," hosted by Trisha Yearwood, bringing more star-studded holiday performances to close out the night.
For the full lineup of performers and special moments—including a highly anticipated appearance by Bill Murray and his Blood Brothers Band—watch the complete story in the video above. The festivities air tonight at 8 p.m. on NBC.
