Palm Springs Fire Foundation Toy Drive Returns Next Wednesday to Support Local Kids
Mark your calendars — NBC Palm Springs is partnering once again with the Palm Springs Fire Foundation for its annual holiday toy drive benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Palm Springs.
The event takes place Wednesday, December 10, outside Palm Springs Fire Station 2, located next to the Palm Springs International Airport. From 6 a.m. until 7 p.m., NBC Palm Springs team members and local firefighters will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to help make the holiday season brighter for children in the community.
Palm Springs Fire Chief Paul Alvarado says the toy drive is all about the kids — and seeing how much joy the gifts bring is what keeps this tradition going strong each year.
Donors are encouraged to stop by anytime throughout the day, drop off a gift, and say hello to the team. Popular items often include sports-related toys like basketballs, soccer balls, and tennis rackets — anything that gives kids more ways to play and enjoy being active.
Every donation, big or small, helps ensure local families feel supported and celebrated this holiday season.
