La Quinta to Host Emergency Response Training Workshop

La Quinta will hold a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training workshop December 12-14, 2025, at City Hall.

The free workshop trains residents in disaster preparedness and emergency response skills, including fire safety, search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Participants can attend any one of the three scheduled dates.

The training also serves as recruitment for the city's CERT program, which prepares community members to assist during emergencies and disasters.

All participants will receive a preparedness backpack. Space is limited.
