Modernism Week Hosts Online Holiday Auction Featuring Architectural Experiences and Rare Items

Modernism Week will hold its fifth annual online auction from December 6-14, offering more than 100 items and experiences to bidders looking for unique holiday gifts or exclusive access to modernist architecture.

The "Best of Modernism - Holiday Edition" auction opens Saturday, December 6 at 12 PM PST on modernismweek.com and runs for eight days. The event features architectural tours, VIP event packages, artwork, and collectibles not typically available to the public.

Notable auction items include a private twilight tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater for up to four guests, complete with cocktail reception and overnight stay, and multi-night stays in private Frank Lloyd Wright and Donald Wexler-designed homes. Other offerings include original signed Julius Shulman photographs, vintage Scandinavian glass collections, midcentury furniture pieces, and out-of-print architecture books.

VIP packages for the main Modernism Week event include four-night hotel stays with tickets to sold-out events like the garden tour at Richard Neutra's 1946 Kaufmann Residence and the party at the Sinatra Estate.

Proceeds support Modernism Week, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in Palm Springs. The organization's main annual event is scheduled for February 2026.
