Friends of the Children Coachella Valley Wins Social Impact Award

NBC Palm Springs, the Rap Foundation, and Honda & Toyota of the Desert surprised Friends of the Children Coachella Valley with the Social Impact Award, honoring their long-term mentorship work with local youth. Volunteer Randy Florence was also recognized and gifted $500, which he immediately donated back to the organization. In total, the nonprofit received $1,000 to support its mission of providing 12 years of dedicated, paid professional mentorship to children, helping create lasting generational change in the community.
