Community Wreath Contest Raises $15,000 for Cathedral City Boys & Girls Club

Holiday spirit was on full display this weekend at the Roost Lounge in Cathedral City, where a festive wreath contest and auction helped raise $15,000 for a good cause.

The event featured handmade wreaths, each uniquely designed and auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City. NBC Palm Springs was proud to participate, contributing a wreath that was also put up for auction.

Organizers say the event raised funds entirely dedicated to supporting local youth programs, made possible by generous community members and businesses who showed up to give back.

NBC Palm Springs will be back at the Roost again this coming weekend to continue celebrating the season of giving. For now, one of those festive wreaths is proudly hanging on an NBC Palm Springs door — a reminder of what community support can accomplish when people come together.
