NBC Palm Springs to Host Third Annual Tail-A-Thon Fundraiser

NBC Palm Springs will broadcast live from the Palm Springs Animal Shelter and Desert Wildlife Center on Thursday, December 11th, for the Third Annual Tail-A-Thon, a three-hour telethon-style fundraising event.

The broadcast will run from 4pm to 7pm, featuring live coverage from both facilities as they work to raise funds for their operations and services.

The event will include stories about animals currently at the shelter and wildlife center, behind-the-scenes footage of daily operations at both facilities, and real-time updates on fundraising progress throughout the evening. Viewers will have the opportunity to contribute by phone or online during the broadcast.

Both the Palm Springs Animal Shelter and Desert Wildlife Center serve the Coachella Valley, providing care for domestic animals and native wildlife, respectively. The shelters rely on community donations to support their rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption programs.

This marks the third year NBC Palm Springs has partnered with the organizations for the fundraising event.
