Palm Springs Lights Up the Night with Annual Festival of Lights Parade
Downtown Palm Springs came alive with holiday cheer last night as thousands lined Palm Canyon Drive for the annual Festival of Lights Parade — an event made possible this year thanks to sponsorship by DAP Health. The beloved tradition once again delivered a dazzling showcase of glowing floats, marching bands, dancers, and community groups — all celebrating the magic of the season under the desert night sky.
Spectators bundled up and arrived early to claim their spots, filling the streets with excitement as the procession made its way through the heart of the city. Families cheered as performers illuminated the parade route and volunteers handed out holiday smiles along the way. The DAP Health sponsorship helped ensure the broadcast and viewing experience ran smoothly, allowing even viewers at home to share in the festive joy.
The energy reached its peak with the arrival of Santa Claus, who closed out the parade and reminded everyone that Christmas is just around the corner. Organizers say the event continues to grow each year, highlighting the strong community spirit that Palm Springs is known for during the holidays.
The Festival of Lights Parade marks the start of a busy season of celebrations across the Coachella Valley, spreading joy to residents, visitors, and all who call the desert home.
