Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Tuesday, December 9, 2025!

Normal high temperatures for the Coachella Valley during mid-December are close to 70°... instead, we'll be experiencing well above-normal numbers each day into next week.
Today, the Coachella Valley will be under cloud-free skies with dry air and high temperatures in the lower-80s.
As an upper-level ridge of high pressure situates itself directly over the Southwest, Valley highs will be running approximately 15-degrees above seasonal levels. In fact, during the afternoons of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Valley midday temps will warm into the middle-80s.
The images posted here are my city-by-city look at what to expect those three-days.
Next, those peak readings will back-off slightly this weekend, but will still remain well above normal.
