Riverside County Names Robert Fish as New Fire Chief

Riverside County will officially appoint Robert Fish as its new fire chief today. Fish steps into the role after serving as deputy chief overseeing CAL FIRE’s East County operations.

With 34 years of experience at CAL FIRE, Fish brings decades of leadership and operational knowledge to the position. He will succeed current Fire Chief Bill Weiser, who is retiring on December 31.

The county says Fish’s extensive background makes him well-positioned to guide the department as it moves into the new year.
