David Archuleta to headline 10th Annual Cathedral City LGBT+ Days presented by Agua Caliente Casinos

Cathedral City LGBT+ Days, presented by Agua Caliente Casinos, is marking its 10th anniversary with a major headliner: pop artist and American Idol alum David Archuleta. Producers announced that Archuleta will take the main stage on Saturday, March 7, 2026, as part of the weeklong celebration from March 3 through March 9.
This year’s theme, CommUNITY Strong, highlights the resilience, diversity, and unity of the LGBT+ community across the Coachella Valley and beyond. As California’s first Pride celebration of the year, the 2026 event aims to underscore solidarity and joy through music, art, and community-focused programming.
Archuleta’s appearance brings added meaning to the milestone celebration. His recent journey reconciling faith, identity, and self-acceptance has resonated widely, and his music — including the anthem Hell Together — reflects the festival’s message of authenticity and strength. Organizers say his story makes him a natural fit for the event’s 10th anniversary.
For our 10th anniversary, we knew we needed a headliner who not only possesses incredible talent but also embodies the spirit of resilience and authenticity, said Michael Westman, Marketing Manager of Montage Agency and Producer of Cathedral City LGBT+ Days. David’s journey reminds us that true strength comes from embracing who you are. His voice, his story, and his spirit perfectly align with our mission to celebrate the unbreakable bond of our commUNITY.
The festival will feature a full lineup of events throughout the week, including the Cat City Drag Race competition, an Opening Ceremony at City Hall with proclamations and a Pride Flag raising, a Pride Drone Show, and a free festival before 4 p.m. inside the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater. Additional highlights include food, entertainment, vendors, a Bed Race and Parade, a Vendor Marketplace, and a Closing Party at Agua Caliente Casino featuring Devin and Ned.
Tickets for the David Archuleta concert and festival passes are now on sale, with special 10th anniversary general admission pricing, along with reserved and VIP options. Details, sponsorship information, and the full schedule are available at CathedralCityLGBTdays.com.
