That very warm weather trend will continue into our foreseeable future.
As an upper-level ridge of high pressure hovers over Southern California -- providing lots of sinking air -- those Coachella Valley peak temperatures will continue to run about 15-degrees above those mid-December seasonal levels.
Today, tomorrow and again on Friday, Palm Springs will find itself under clear skies with a midday highs each afternoon of 86°... very close to record temps for the city.
As a pair of upper-level lows spin through the Southwest early next week, we may see extra cloud cover, but our highs remain in the 80s.
