From Stretching to Mountain Peaks: Jerry Steffen's Wild Ride Through Today's Wacky Holidays
While most of us were still reaching for our morning coffee, Jerry was diving into a lineup of quirky celebrations happening today. First up: National Stretching Day, which he noted was perfect timing for everyone gearing up for the segment's pop quiz challenge.
But the holiday fun didn't stop there. Today also marks National App Day, and the newsroom had quite the revelation when it came out that Jerry has nearly 100 apps on his phone. The team's reactions ranged from shock to concern about his storage space situation.
Then came National Magnum P.I. Day, complete with instructions for proper celebration: Hawaiian shirt, sunglasses, mustache, and most importantly, the signature eyebrow wiggle. Naturally, this led to an impromptu eyebrow-raising competition in the studio, with varying degrees of success.
The perfect segue into today's quiz theme? National Mountain Day. With the gorgeous mountain ranges surrounding the Coachella Valley and excellent hiking weather on tap, Jerry challenged both the on-air team and the control room with two mountain-themed questions.
Think You Know Your Mountains? Test Your Knowledge!
