Desert Hot Springs Christmas Parade Returns Saturday With Two Grand Marshals Honored for Community Impact

The Desert Hot Springs Christmas Parade is set to roll down Palm Drive on Saturday evening, and this year the city is shining a spotlight on two grand marshals who embody local pride, achievement, and creativity.

Leading the parade is Esthefania Rodriguez, a Desert Hot Springs native and the current Miss California Latina. While this is her first year serving as Grand Marshal, it’s far from her first time appearing in the parade. Rodriguez once marched as a cheerleader and later rode as the Princess of Desert Hot Springs during her high school years.

Since then, she has traveled the world competing in pageants, ultimately earning the statewide crown. Returning home to lead the parade, she says, feels like a full-circle moment.

Joining her is Casey Zoltan, an art curator with Known Gallery, who has played a major role in expanding public art throughout Desert Hot Springs. From vibrant murals to community art activations, Zoltan’s contributions have helped shape the city’s creative landscape. He says the recognition from the community is an honor.

City officials say this year’s parade will celebrate community pride, complete with music, illuminated floats, performers, and plenty of holiday spirit.

The parade steps off Saturday evening at Palm Drive and Mission Lakes Boulevard, with dozens of floats and participants expected. Our team will be out on the route as well, joining residents for the festivities.
