"I read the script first, and I just fell in love with it," Williams told Manny. "I fell in love with the story, the way it felt to read Morgan herself as a person, all of these characters."

Williams described her character as someone "defined by sacrifice and self doubt," and explained how the film tackles the complex emotions of moving forward after loss.

"The pain of grief is undeniable and is in some ways permanent, but after a loss like that, there is always a vacuum left behind," Williams shared in the conversation.
