Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City Holiday Posada

The Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City is turning into a Christmas wonderland tonight for its annual Holiday Posada, where kids get to pick out their own toys from a weekend collection drive.

NBC Palm Springs teamed up with The Roost Lounge and GED Magazine over the weekend to gather toys for local youth. The Coachella Valley Firebirds are even sending Fuego over to join the fun and help hand out presents.

The celebration runs from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boys & Girls Club, located at 32141 Whispering Palms Trail. Cathedral City students and residents age 18 and under can attend, but need to call (760) 324-5844 to reserve a spot. Kids must be present to pick out their toy.

NBC Palm Springs will broadcast live from the event at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM as kids make their selections and the holiday party gets underway.
