SunLine Transit Agency offers free bus rides December 22 through January 2
Holiday plans in the Coachella Valley just got a little easier — and more affordable. SunLine Transit Agency is offering free bus fares as the holiday season enters its final stretch.
From December 22 through January 2, riders can hop on SunLine Routes 1 through 9 at no cost. The fare-free period is designed to help residents and visitors travel throughout the Valley for holiday shopping, family visits, and seasonal events without the added expense of bus fare.
The promotion comes during one of the busiest times of the year, when traffic and parking can be a challenge. By offering free rides, SunLine is encouraging people to consider public transit as a convenient alternative to driving while also helping riders save money during the holidays.
Whether you’re heading to stores, meeting up with loved ones, or getting around town for everyday errands, SunLine’s free holiday service offers an easy way to move around the Valley through the start of the new year.
