Fido Fridays: Community Program Gives Shelter Dogs a Day Out

It’s time for Fido Fridays, our weekly segment highlighting the community-driven FIDO program.

Created by local residents, the program allows people to take a dog out of the shelter for the day. These outings help dogs decompress, increase their exposure to potential adopters, and give participants the chance to spend quality time with a furry friend.

This week, community contributor Jen Agnew introduces us to Kelso, who was also featured as our Pet of the Week.
