Javier Bardem Talks "F1," and Working with Brad Pitt

Oscar winner Javier Bardem stars alongside Brad Pitt in "F1," the new racing drama now streaming on Apple TV+. The film follows a former driver who returns to the track, and Bardem plays team owner Ruben Cervantes—a man who traded the driver's seat for the business side but never lost his hunger for speed.

In an interview with Manny the Movie Guy, Bardem described his character as "a gambler of speed" who knows he can't race anymore but finds someone who can do it better than he ever could.

As for working with Pitt, Bardem had nothing but praise: "He's fearless and he's a sweetheart, and he's handsome as hell."

Bardem also shared what themes from the film resonated with him most, touching on friendship, trusting the underdog, and getting back up after you crash.
