Palm Springs Air Museum Transforms into Winter Wonderland for "Snowtopia"
The Palm Springs Air Museum is turning its tarmac into a Christmas wonderland this weekend—and yes, that includes 50 tons of real snow.
Snowtopia brings four nights of holiday magic to the Coachella Valley, giving families a chance to experience a white Christmas without leaving the desert. Santa Claus himself will be on hand for meet and greets, and little ones can take a spin on a real ride-on holiday train.
The fun doesn't stop there. Guests can roast s'mores over outdoor fire pits, play in the snow-covered tarmac playground, and snap photos with Mrs. Claus, Frosty the Snowman, and a cheerful crew of elves. Inside the Miles Hangar, families can browse holiday shopping and get creative at craft-making stations.
For the youngest visitors, there's a separate indoor play area with bouncy houses designed just for toddlers ages 5 and under.
When it's time to refuel, food trucks—including Chick-fil-A—will be serving up pizza, hot dogs, and other favorites. Hot chocolate and cookies will also be available to keep the festive vibes going.
