Desert Jet Expands Aviation Operations to Colorado with New Hangars Near Steamboat Springs

Desert Jet, a leading business aviation services company based in Palm Springs, is expanding its footprint beyond the Coachella Valley with a move into Colorado. The company will manage and operate two newly built, state-of-the-art hangars at Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden, providing service to the Steamboat Springs area and surrounding mountain communities.

The heated hangars are designed to accommodate some of the largest business aircraft in the world and will serve both based and transient aircraft owners. Company leaders say the Hayden location also sets the stage for a future full-service fixed-base operator, or FBO, bringing Desert Jet’s emphasis on safety, service, and hospitality to Colorado.

Desert Jet CEO Jared Fox says the expansion reflects the company’s commitment to growing while maintaining strong community ties. Along with the Colorado project, Desert Jet is also planning further expansion at its Thermal location, adding hangar, ramp, and facility services for Coachella Valley clients.

The Colorado expansion marks the next phase of Desert Jet’s national growth strategy, building on the success of its award-winning flagship operation in the Palm Springs area.
