Brothers of the Desert to Host New Year’s Eve Gala at Riviera Resort and Spa in Palm Springs

Brothers of the Desert, a nonprofit organization that supports the Black LGBTQ community in the Coachella Valley, is hosting a New Year’s Eve gala in Palm Springs to celebrate the holiday while raising money for community programs.

The event will take place at the Riviera Resort and Spa, which is operated by Brothers of the Desert. Proceeds from the gala will benefit the organization’s scholarship fund and other programs aimed at supporting and uplifting members of the local Black LGBTQ community.

The New Year’s Eve celebration is scheduled to run from 7:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. Guests can expect a full evening of entertainment, including live music, dinner, drinks, and a comedy show, all leading up to the countdown to the new year.

Organizers say the gala is designed to be both a festive celebration and a meaningful fundraiser, bringing the community together while supporting educational opportunities and outreach efforts throughout the Valley.
