Life looks a little different for the super-soldier this time around.

The trailer closes with a promise: "Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday."

Evans' return marks a surprising shift after previous comments suggesting he was done with the role. According to The Hollywood Reporter, those earlier statements make this comeback all the more unexpected for longtime MCU followers.
