BIGHORN Golf Club Charities Awards Over $800,000 to Coachella Valley Nonprofits

BIGHORN Golf Club Charities is closing out the year by awarding more than $800,000 to 53 nonprofit organizations across the Coachella Valley through its BIGHORN CARES grant program. The selected recipients were chosen from nearly $5 million in funding requests submitted by about 200 local organizations.

Nonprofits receiving grants include Animal Samaritans, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Desert, Desert Arc, Galilee Center, Mizell Center, The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens and Voices for Children, among many others. The funding supports programs focused on animal welfare, youth services, education, health, and social services throughout the region.

The honored organizations will be recognized at a private awards dinner in January, marking more than a decade of community impact made possible through BIGHORN CARES and the ongoing philanthropic efforts of BIGHORN Golf Club Charities.
