Fido Fridays: Meet Linguini!!

It’s time now for Fido Fridays, a weekly segment highlighting the incredible dogs in our community and the people working to support them. The segment focuses on a new community-driven program called Fido, which was created by local volunteers to give shelter dogs a much-needed break from the kennel environment. The program allows community members to take a dog out of the shelter for a day—whether it’s for a walk, a car ride, some playtime, or just quiet companionship. These outings help dogs decompress, show off their true personalities outside the shelter, and increase their chances of being seen by potential adopters. At the same time, participants get to enjoy a meaningful day with a furry friend and make a real difference in a dog’s life. This week, our community contributor Jen Agnew introduces us to Linguini, a lovable and very friendly dog who is ready to charm anyone he meets.
