Zelensky Says He'll Meet Trump Sunday to Discuss Ukraine Peace Plan

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced Friday that he plans to meet with President Donald Trump in Florida on Sunday to advance peace negotiations.

Zelensky told reporters that a 20-point peace plan developed by Ukrainian and U.S. officials is "90% ready." The meeting would focus on finalizing remaining details and discussing how Ukraine's allies could guarantee the country's security going forward.

Zelensky tempered expectations, saying he could not predict whether Sunday's talks would produce a firm agreement to end the war with Russia. The goal, he said, is to finalize as much as possible.

The White House has not confirmed the meeting.
