Palm Desert Mayor to Host “Coffee with the Mayor” Community Meet-Up

The City of Palm Desert is encouraging residents to take part in an upcoming “Coffee with the Mayor” event aimed at fostering open dialogue between community members and city leadership. The event will be hosted by Mayor Evan Trubee on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 8:30 in the morning at the Palm Desert Entrepreneurial Resource Center on Cook Street.

City officials say the informal gathering will give residents an opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee while discussing community concerns, sharing ideas, and learning more about what’s happening behind the scenes at City Hall. The event follows a growing trend of community outreach initiatives, similar to popular “Coffee with a Cop” programs held in other cities.

Palm Desert leaders hope the conversation-driven format will strengthen connections between residents and local government while encouraging greater civic participation.
