Agua Caliente Casinos Ring in the New Year with Frozen Oasis Festivities Despite Rain

Even with rain falling across the Coachella Valley, the New Year’s Eve celebration at Agua Caliente Casinos in Palm Springs pushed forward with energy, music, and plenty of festivities. NBC Palm Springs caught up live with Thalia Hayden, who was on site as the Frozen Oasis celebration continued rain or shine.

Behind her, the Ben Millar Band prepared for their performance, while guests enjoyed a lively atmosphere filled with hot slot machines, table games, and crowds eager to ring in the new year. Pearl Aguinaldo, Vice President of Marketing for Agua Caliente Casinos, said the excitement was building throughout the night, with entertainment scheduled across all properties.

Despite the weather, organizers assured guests that the celebration was fully covered. Canopies, heaters, food trucks, hot cocoa, and coffee were all available to keep visitors warm and comfortable. DJ Micah Gold was also set to take over between live band sets, keeping the crowd energized through the countdown to midnight.

David Aguinaldo added that while tuxedos might be swapped for ponchos, the fun was still guaranteed. Fireworks were still planned for Palm Springs, and guests were encouraged to enjoy the indoor gaming and dining options if the rain picked up.

Celebrations were also underway at Agua Caliente Cathedral City and Rancho Mirage. Cathedral City offered a non-smoking option for guests, along with live music and a DJ. Weather permitting, a drone show was scheduled at the Cathedral City location, while Palm Springs prepared for fireworks. Rancho Mirage continued its own festivities with live entertainment and signature New Year’s Eve experiences.

Coca-Cola was also on site as an official sponsor, providing mixers and beverages throughout the casinos.

With multiple locations, live entertainment, and a festive atmosphere, Agua Caliente Casinos once again made themselves a top destination to ring in the new year across the Coachella Valley.
