Cathedral City Server Surprised as NBC Palm Springs Server of the Week

It was a moment filled with smiles, gratitude, and a little shock at Mark’s Burgers in Cathedral City as one local server was surprised with a special honor.

Anthony Carini from Honda and Toyota of the Desert stopped by the restaurant on East Palm Canyon Drive, near City Hall, to deliver the news in partnership with NBC Palm Springs. Sammy, a server known for her positive attitude and dedication, was named the latest Server of the Week.

The surprise caught Sammy completely off guard as she learned she had been nominated for her outstanding service and hard work. Along with the recognition came a very generous tip, turning an ordinary shift into a memorable celebration.

Mark, the owner of Mark’s Burgers, shared heartfelt praise, thanking Sammy for being an important part of the team and for helping create a welcoming environment for customers. He credited employees like her for the restaurant’s continued success and strong connection to the community.
