Coachella Valley Hospitals Welcome First Babies of 2026

Hospitals across the Coachella Valley are ringing in 2026 by celebrating the first babies born in the new year.

At Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, baby Emilio arrived at 12:34 a.m. on New Year's Day. At JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, Darian was born at 1:23 a.m., and was warmly welcomed by his proud older brother, Damian. Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage also shared news of its first 2026 baby, Allison, born at 6:19 a.m.
