Jacob Melanson Scores His First NHL Goal

Max McCormick is back in the Coachella Valley as he he continues his rehab. McCormick had season-ending hip surgery at the beginning of the Firebirds 2025-2026 season, but will be active in the community and on the sidelines for the foreseeable future.

Also, Jacob Melanson made his way up to Seattle three weeks ago, and finally put his mark in the NHL by scoring his first ever goal. The Kraken forward said the goal was particularly special because he got to share the moment with several of his 'CV' teammates.
