North Indian Canyon Drive Remains Closed After New Year's Flooding

New Year's flooding shut down several roads in the wash areas between Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs. Most have since reopened, but North Indian Canyon Drive remains closed.

As of Sunday afternoon, North Gene Autry Trail and Vista Chino are both clear and open to traffic again. The city of Palm Springs has not yet confirmed when North Indian Canyon Drive will reopen.

Drivers heading between Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs should plan alternate routes until further notice.
