Cathedral City Police Training Exercises to Continue Thursday

The Cathedral City Police Department is notifying drivers and nearby residents about increased police activity in the city due to a planned training exercise. The exercise is taking place in the area of James Workman Middle School near 30th Avenue and began today.

Police say the training will continue through tomorrow, running daily from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents are advised to remain aware of a large police presence in the area during those hours, noting the activity is part of a training operation and not an emergency.
