SunLine Transit Agency Launches “SunLine Rides Reimagined” to Shape Future of Valley Transportation

SunLine Transit Agency is launching a new community-focused initiative aimed at shaping the future of public transportation in the Coachella Valley.

The program, called SunLine Rides Reimagined, invites residents to share their thoughts and ideas through a short online survey. SunLine says the feedback will help guide improvements to bus routes, paratransit services, and future mobility options across the valley.

Phase one of the month-long project is already underway. During this initial phase, SunLine is focused on understanding public expectations for transportation and identifying how services can expand to become more accessible, efficient, and community-driven.

Agency leaders say public input is essential to building a transit system that truly reflects the needs of the region. They emphasize that participation is encouraged from everyone, not just current riders.

SunLine representatives say the survey is open to people who ride the bus daily, occasionally, or not at all. They want to hear from residents who may be interested in using public transit in the future, as well as those who already rely on it.

SunLine officials say the feedback collected during this process will directly influence future service decisions, making community involvement critical at this stage of planning.
