Palm Springs Police Announce Key Leadership Promotions

Palm Springs Police officials have announced some promotions in their crew.

Kyle Stjerne has been promoted from captain to deputy chief, and Gustavo Araiza is now a captain after years as a lieutenant.

The promotions mark an important step in strengthening the department’s leadership team as it continues to focus on public safety, community engagement, and forward-thinking policing strategies.

Palm Springs Police then thanked Deputy Chief Stjerne and Captain Araiza for their service on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
