Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Wednesday, January 14, 2026!

Today, the Coachella Valley will experience its warmest day of the week as midday temperatures rise to about 15-degrees above-normal.

As an upper-level ridge of high pressure centers itself over the Southwest, those Valley midday numbers will peak in the middle-80s this afternoon. In fact, Palm Springs is forecast to hit 86°, well above the city's normal mid-January high of 70°.

Although this ridge flattens-out a bit, the Valley will still experience highs in the lower-80s into the weekend.
