NBC Palm Springs, SunLine Host Clothing Drive to Benefit Desert Best Friend's Closet

NBC Palm Springs is partnering with SunLine Transit Agency to collect clothing donations for Desert Best Friend's Closet next Thursday, January 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Desert Best Friend's Closet is a Coachella Valley nonprofit that provides free professional clothing, interview attire, and prom dresses to individuals in need—helping community members prepare for job interviews, formal events, and other milestone moments.

The drive will accept new or gently used professional and semi-formal clothing. Donations can be dropped off at the SunDial paratransit vehicle parked in front of SunLine's administration building at 32-505 Harry Oliver Trail in Thousand Palms.

"Something as simple as the right outfit can make a significant difference for someone preparing for a job interview or milestone moment," said Mona Babauta, CEO and General Manager of SunLine Transit Agency. "We're proud to support Desert Best Friend's Closet as they help empower members of our community to succeed."
